During this short, guided walk around Apex Nature Park, participants will: Discover the stories and features highlighted on the new Apex Natural Heritage Trail interpretive signs. Help document native plants and wildlife for Science Across NC’s 2026 Bioblitz using iNaturalist. Support Apex in the National Recreation and Park Association’s “Recycling Race” by picking up litter and keeping our trails clean. T his free event is open to all ages. Sign up through the Town's Volunteer Portal! We recommend downloading iNaturalist on your smart phone ahead of time if you would like to participate in the Bioblitz component.
