Cary Gallery of Artists, at 200 S Academy Street, Cary, North Carolina, is a cooperative operated by local artists. It features contemporary and traditional fine art and craft, with more than 300 artworks exhibited by 24 artists from around the Triangle. Displays change monthly, and are introduced with a "Final Friday" evening reception. Final Friday Reception The Final Friday Receptions take place the last Friday of the month, from 6 to 8 p.m. They feature a relaxed atmosphere with light refreshments, conversation and a chance to check out the newest exhibition. On April 24, 2026, Cary Gallery of Artists is presenting the reception for "The Root of Art" by sculptor Pat Sweeney, and "There is a Place" by painter Annie Kinney Villa. The show will be available to enjoy from April 24 to May 29, 2026.Regular Gallery hours: Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 – 5:30; Sunday 12:30 – 4:00.
