Storybook Ballet is a 30-minute program that brings together dance and literature in partnership with the Carolina Ballet. A professional ballerina will read Beauty and the Beast, share a brief ballet demonstration in costume, and invite audience questions. Ever wondered what it’s like to be a ballerina or how stories come to life through movement? This relaxed, interactive program offers a glimpse into the art of ballet and is intended for grades K-5, but all ages are welcome.
