Program for teens in grades 6-12.Does the wildness of the world bewilder and enchant you? Are you or have you ever been fascinated by animals? Are you connected to nature and want to write about the intense reality and also fantastical spaces of the world around us? In this workshop, we will combine creative writing as an embodied practice with an attunement to nature through the guidance of NC State student instructors who will help you kickstart your summer writing journey! We will look at texts from authors such as Annie Dillard, Ross Gay, and Mary Oliver to ignite a wildfire.
