The Town of Cary is presenting several events for Independence Day in 2026, including a festival at Downtown Cary Park, a fishing tournament, patriotic music, a movie and fireworks. July 3rd Celebration at Downtown Cary Park Kick off your festivities on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 4 to 10 p.m., at Downtown Cary Park, 327 S Academy Street, Cary, North Carolina. This free event will feature fun games, a mist zone, arts and crafts, and other activities for people of all ages. Food trucks will be on hand and the Bark Bar will have cold drinks all night. Cary Town Band's America's 250th Cary Patriotic Celebration The Cary Town Band is presenting a patriotic concert on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., at Cary Arts Center. It's free to attend. Independence Day Fishing Tournament The Town of Cary is holding its annual Independence Day Fishing Tournament at Bond Park, 801 High House Road, Cary, North Carolina, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 8 to 11 a.m. All ages are welcome. Registration starts at 7 a.m. and the tournament starts at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for the longest and shortest fish caught by each age group. Free event.
