Tips for Museum Visits with Kids
1. Go early. Museums are least crowded right at opening, especially on weekdays. 2. Do not try to see everything. Pick one or two galleries and go deep. You can always come back. 3. Use strollers strategically. All museums listed are stroller-friendly, but toddlers who can walk will engage more. 4. Pack snacks. Most museums have cafes, but bringing snacks avoids meltdowns between galleries. 5. Download the museum app if available. The NC Museum of Art has a good one with scavenger hunts for kids.
