K-5th Adventures: Snakes

Read, create, discover and explore through hands-on activities! Slither into the library to learn all about common North Carolina snakes and how to respect their space and stay safe around them! We’ll practice identifying snakes’ patterns, play “Is This Snake Venomous?” and make our own snake skin! Space & supplies are limited and reserved for children in kindergarten through 5th grade on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan to arrive early to pick up your free ticket at the circulation desk, starting at 4 pm!
