Menstruation is a natural part of life—but it’s not always a topic everyone feels prepared to talk about. This welcoming and judgment-free program is designed especially for dads, caregivers, and allies who want to better understand and support the people in their lives who menstruate.

Participants will learn the basics of menstruation, including what to expect, how to talk about it openly, and how to provide practical and emotional support. We’ll explore common products, answer frequently asked questions, and break down myths and stigmas surrounding periods.

Whether you’re a dad wanting to support your child, a caregiver looking to learn, or simply someone who wants to be a better advocate, this session offers the tools, language, and confidence to show up with understanding and care.

If you have any accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact us at cromero@dconc.gov. We ask that all requests be made at least three (3) business days prior to the event to ensure we can provide the best accommodations possible!
