A 1,400-capacity venue in downtown Raleigh that books a great mix of indie, electronic, and hip-hop acts. The balcony level is worth seeking out for the best views.
4. Motorco Music Hall — Durham
An intimate 400-capacity venue in a converted auto garage. The Parts & Labor bar next door is perfect for pre-show drinks, and the Fullsteam Brewery taproom is just across the parking lot.
5. Red Hat Amphitheater — Raleigh
When the weather's right, there's nothing better than an outdoor show at Red Hat. The downtown Raleigh skyline as a backdrop makes every concert feel special.
