Photo: Raleigh Parks The very popular family event, Letterland, returns to Pullen Park, 520 Ashe Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina, from May 4 to 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Throughout the week Letterlander character cutouts will be displayed throughout Pullen Park. Families are invited to visit the park to search for their favorite Letterlanders hidden around the park. This is a free event. This annual celebration and partnership with the Wake County Public School System brings phonics to life, helping students engage with the characters and concepts that make learning to read fun. Letterland Activity Nights April 4 and 7, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m., are Letterland Activity Nights. These special evenings will feature interactive activities such as face painting, obstacle courses, jump ropes, bubble stations, and appearances by Clever Cat, Bouncy Ben, and Annie Apple. Letterland Activity Nights are free to enjoy. Rides on the train and carousel at Pullen Park are available require a fee of $2 per rider. To avoid ticket lines, you can purchase tickets in advance.
