When I had my first baby, I was desperate to get out of the house by week three — but the idea of taking a newborn anywhere felt overwhelming. If that's you right now, I promise it gets easier, and the Triangle is one of the best places to be a new parent. There are so many baby-friendly spots and classes designed specifically for the youngest little ones.
Here's my go-to list after years of doing this with three kids.

Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh offers a dedicated baby area for ages 0-12 months. The soft-floored sensory space has mirrors, textured panels, and age-appropriate toys.
