Apex Memorial Day Parade — typically Saturday morning down Salem Street in downtown Apex. Veterans, fire trucks, kids on bikes. Family-perfect.
Wake Forest Memorial Day Ceremony — usually held Monday morning at the Veterans Memorial. Short, dignified, kid-appropriate.
NC State Capitol Memorial Day Service — downtown Raleigh, Monday morning. The most formal option, but also the most powerful for older kids who can sit still through speeches.
