Durham Bulls (baseball, April-September): The Durham Bulls Athletic Park is one of the best minor league stadiums in America. Tickets are $12-15, hot dogs are cheap, and the between-inning entertainment keeps kids engaged even if they lose interest in the game. The famous snorting bull in left field is iconic.
NC Courage (women's soccer, spring-fall) or NC FC (men's soccer): Games at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary are exciting, affordable, and extremely family-friendly. Soccer games are faster-paced than baseball and often more engaging for younger kids.
No game today? Visit the Canes Practice Facility (PNC Arena area) — sometimes open for public viewing during practice sessions (check schedule).
Tip: Minor league and local soccer games are significantly more affordable and family-friendly than major league events. A family of four can attend a Bulls game for under $60 including food.
